Dear Ms XXX,
Thanks for explaining the matters related to DIBA/DIA students. I have read and understand the content of your e-mail.
Since the new LAN/MPW classes which also involve DIBA/DIA students are scheduled to start soon, below are a few matters of concern for your perusal. In my humble opinion, these are important to make sure that we follow the DIBA/DIA requirements religiously. Furthermore, I must admit that I have no knowledge of the DIBA/DIA requirements.
1) The exact date of commencement; to make sure it follows the KLC schedule.
2) Exam dates. Is it in December 2006?
3) I expect KLC to furnish me with the Focus/Key Topics for all MPW before the date of commencement so that I can get prepared. My Focus/Key Topics might not follow that of KLC DIBA/DIA and I don’t want to take any chance by using my Focus/Key Topics for the DIBA/DIA students.
4) I expect KLC to furnish me with the Weekly Outline for all MPW before the date commencement so that I can get prepared. Reason: as above.
5) I expect KLC to furnish me with the Coursework questions and marking scheme for all MPW. Reason: as above – and with reference to the matters explained in your e-mail.
6) I expect KLC to inform me about the main MPW lecturer in KLC whom I can refer to in case there is a need to do so; especially about the coursework and weekly outline. Reason: as above.
7) I expect KLC to inform me about the Final Examination format for all MPW. Reason: as above. I might have been the moderator for some of KLC MPW examination papers, and I might have corrected the many mistakes (language, content, format etc according to LAN requirement) but that does not mean I fully understand the DIBA/DIA requirements for MPW papers.
Since I have zero knowledge of the DIBA/DIA requirements – and I do not - thankyouverymuch - want to upset anyone by making any silly mistakes because of my ignorance – I shall conduct the classes strictly based upon the Focus/Key Topics, Weekly Outline, Coursework Questions etc provided by KLC.
Nevertheless, I am optimistic that the MPW classes for DIBA/DIA in SJC can be conducted effectively once KLC furnishes me with the above.
Let’s work together for the sake of our valued customers – the DIBA/DIA students.
I look forward to your quick response.
Sincerely,
Uthaya Sankar SB
P/S: Would the non-DIBA/DIA students in SJC be forced to follow the MPW based upon KLC requirement or do they have a choice of joining another class?
